Snap Clips Extensions

If you are thinking about getting hair extensions, look at the choices you have, snap on, clip on and permanent. If you are going to the salon make sure they explain in detail which style of extension is good for you. For example, let’s say that you choose the snap clip extensions. Ask to see them before they start, just so you can see what they are using in your hair. A good hairdresser will use a kit of snap on clips, the amount of clips vary depending on the set.
The snap clips are applied to the back and the sides of the head. The side clips are about 2 inches wide; there are three left sidepieces and three right side pieces. The larger pieces for the back of the hair are about 7 or 8 inches wide. These clips are secure so tightly that the clip would need a lot of pressure to open that keeps the hair in place. Like when you wear braids, sometimes they are tight, it is the same the extensions may feel a little tight the first day, the more you wear them, the more comfortable you will feel.
There are two types of hair that is used for extensions; they are the human hair and synthetic man made hair. The human hair obviously feels more like your own but with technology today, the synthetic hair looks like the real thing and may even feel like the same but the materials are slightly different. When you are choosing a color try to match it up as closely as you can. Some colors may look like yours but they look different when they are up close to your hair. |
